Meta Verified has been launched. Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has given this information through a post. This is the subscription model of the company, for which Mark Zuckerberg has said that users will have to pay a charge of around Rs 1,000 per month. This charge will be imposed for Facebook and Instagram.

However, now the question is coming in the mind of many people that whether running Facebook or Instagram will no longer be free? If it remains free, then what charge is being talked about continuously? Here you are getting answers to all these questions.

You will remember that recently Twitter had announced Blue Subscription. With this, users can take advantage of additional benefits by taking charge. In this, the biggest benefit is to get blue tick or verified badge in front of the name. Many people see it as a status symbol. Now companies are taking advantage of the same.

Musk started with Twitter

Till now only notable people were given blue ticks on Facebook-Instagram or Twitter. This shows the correctness of the account. But while changing this, Musk said to give blue tick to those who take the subscription plan of the company.

Now Meta has also announced a similar plan. With this, users can get blue tick by paying money. However, for this, they will also have to show the ID card issued by the government. It has currently been introduced in Australia and New Zealand.

The company is charging around Rs 1,000 for this. The company has said that this will help in fighting fake accounts. After paying the money and getting the ID card verified, a blue tick will appear in front of the user’s name. This will not make it difficult for others to identify the authentic account. In the coming time, it will be launched in India as well.

Will it not be free to use Facebook-Instagram?

Paid service has not yet come in India but in a few weeks it can be launched in the country as well. Even after the launch of verified paid service, you will be able to use Facebook-Instagram for free as before. You have to pay a charge only to get the Blue Badge on it. Even if you do not pay any charge, then these social media platforms will remain free for you as before.

However, it is believed that in the coming time, the company may announce additional features for charge-paying or paid users or may impose restrictions on unpaid users to use certain features. This will be known only in the coming time, but now you will be able to use Facebook and Insta without any charge.
