Leading smartphone brand Huawei has launched a new foldable handset. Huawei Pocket S
has been launched in China. The processor is Snapdragon 778G. The Pocket S runs on the company’s own Harmony OS 3.
The pre-orders for the Huawei Pocket S have already started. The phone will go on sale on November 10. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at 5,988 Yuan (roughly Rs. 67,900). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at 6,488 Yuan (roughly Rs. 73,600). The 8GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is listed at 7,488 Yuan (roughly Rs. 84,900). The Huawei Pocket S comes in Frost Silver, Ice Crystal Blue, Mint Green, Obsidian Black, Primrose Gold and Sakura Pink colors.
The Huawei Pocket S has a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,790 x 1,188 pixels. It also has another 1.04-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 340 x 340 pixels that shows notifications, time and other information. The processor is Snapdragon 778G.
The Huawei Pocket S has a dual rear camera setup with a 40-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is of 10.7 megapixels. The smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery with 40W charging capability.
