The demand for electric scooters is continuously increasing in the country and new models are being launched. Sometime back in the EV segment, the name of the Simple Energy brand had come to the fore, the company had come into the limelight for its high speed electric scooter which was also claiming the highest range. And now after a long wait, Simple Energy has announced that its Simple One electric scooter will be launched in India on May 23 this year and its price will also be revealed on the same day. The company claims that the safest battery will be available in this electric scooter. After the arrival of this new model, it will compete directly with Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450x electric scooter.

According to Suhas Rajkumar, Founder & CEO, Simple Energy, Simple Energy is the first OEM to comply with the Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) 156 Amendment 3, with battery safety as the first focus to avoid accidents . From design to features and tremendous battery range, the new scooter will be better than other electric scooters in its segment.
Will run 236 kilometers in full charge:
The biggest advantage of the Simple One electric scooter is its range. This scooter will get a removable battery pack of 4.8kWh. The 8.5kW electric motor will get 72Nm of torque, which is the highest in the segment. Simple Energy claims that the battery on the Simple One electric scooter will offer a range of up to 236 km on a full charge. It is a long distance traveling scooter and can run at a speed of 0-40 kmph in just 2.85 seconds. The top speed of Simple One is 105 kilometers per hour.
