The car only gets two gates and the front co-passenger seat has to be pushed forward to sit on the rear seat. After which two passengers can be seated on the rear seat. As features, it has been given synthetic leather seat, leather covered steering wheel, 10.25 inch integrated floating wide screen. In simple words, it gets a big screen which is divided into parts. The size of both the screens is 10.25 inches. The infotainment system has been given in one screen. While the second screen shows the car’s range, battery status, drive mode, kilometer information, speed information as well as a comet. Whenever the gaiters of the car open or the seat belt is not applied. At night the light is on high beam or the car is driven on low beam. You get all this information in the instrument cluster. The response of both the screens is quite good. Along with this, the music system available in it is also fine, but it could have been improved further. There are also Apple iPod-like buttons on the steering, which look great. In the exterior of the car, connected DRL, LED headlights, LED taillights as well as connected lights have been given in the rear, which looks quite nice. Powerful battery and motor

A 17.3 Kwh battery has been given in the Comet EV by the company. Which takes seven hours to charge from zero to 100 percent. At the same time, it takes 5.5 hours to charge 80 percent from zero. After full charge, the company claims that it can be run up to 230 kilometers. On the other hand, talking about the motor, it has been given to the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. From this motor, the car gets 110 newton meters of torque with a power of 40 horsepower. It has been given automatic transmission. Due to which it becomes very easy to drive the car. There is no push button start or stop in the car. But after pressing the brake of the car twice, the car becomes completely ready to move. To close it, the car can be locked with the remote. Driving the car was very easy. The car can be easily driven in city traffic. It can also be easily parked in a small space. At the same time, there is no problem in driving it even in small streets.

The company has launched it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.98 lakh. After which it has become the cheapest electric car in the country. This price is introductory and can be changed later. At present, it will be available in the market at a lower price than Tata’s Tiago Electric.

MG’s Comet EV is a premium electric hatchback car. If you leave the length of the car, then it will compete with Tata Tiago Electric and Citroën’s C3 Electric. Where Comet can get the advantage of its price.
