Chinese search engine Baidu on Thursday launched an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot known as Eni Bot. It’s also thought to be a sign of what could be China’s strongest rival to US research lab OpenAI’s ChatGPIT. However, international media reports that the Chinese ladder is not as good as expected.

Today, Baidu is the second largest search engine in the world after Google. In addition to the search engine, Beidou also offers a mapping platform called Beidou Maps and an encyclopedia called Beidou Beik. In 2017, Baidu signed an agreement with Snap, a leading American social media company.
