In the latest report of WABetainfo, a website keeping an eye on the upcoming feature of WhatsApp, information about the roll out of the Message Draft feature has been given.
After installing the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2319.4.0 update from the Microsoft Store, some users are able to use improved support for message drafts. With the help of this new feature, the message written on the chat bar will appear as a draft in the chat list. What would be the benefit?
Users often forget that they have written a message on the chat bar in a conversation. Sometimes they even forget to send it. However, only the last message of the conversation shows up in the chat list. There is no indication that the user’s message is a draft. However, users are seeing a draft indicator in the improvements made with the latest update of the app.
A screenshot has also been given in the report. As per the photo, after leaving something in the message bar in WhatsApp chat, the draft level is visible in green color in the chat list. This will let the user know that he has written something in that chat and has forgotten to send it. It will appear at the top of the chat, just as a new message appears at the top of the chat list.
Do note, however, that enhanced support for WhatsApp message drafts comes with the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows currently available on the Microsoft Store. It will be rolled out to all users in the coming times. For this, users may have to wait a bit.
