Google has increased the storage up to 1TB for Free

With the widespread habit of storing photos, videos and other files online, many people are running out of storage space. The Google Storage used by most is not enough for many people. Google has come up with a new help for customers who have seen the message ‘Your storage limit has been exceeded’ many times. Storage for individual customers of Google service Workspace has been increased from 15 GB to 1 TB.

It is believed to be aimed at small entrepreneurs. While many countries already offer 1TB storage, the plan is not available in India. This is a big setback for Indian users who demand more storage. Google still offers other plans that offer higher storage in India.

“Soon, every Google Workspace individual account will get 1TB of secure cloud storage. You don’t have to do anything special to get the upgraded storage. Each account will be automatically upgraded from their existing 15GB of storage to 1TB once we allow it, Google said in a blog post.

Google reports that small business users need more storage to store more documents, data and digital assets. It is in such a situation that Google has decided to expand the storage. It allows users to store more than 100 file formats including PDF, CAD files and images.
Moreover, users can easily share and edit Microsoft Office files without modifying them. The new storage drive comes with built-in protections against malware, spam and ransomware.
