What is Apple’s Find My Network?
Find My Network lets you find your missing iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other nearby Apple devices using an AirTag attached to it, even when it’s not connected to the Internet. If your smartphone’s battery is out or your phone is on silent, you can locate your device with the help of this feature. Let us tell you, this feature will work only if you have a compatible iPhone and this feature is turned on.
How does Find My Network work?
Supported devices on Find My Network can detect Bluetooth signals from Apple devices whenever they are within Bluetooth range (approximately 15 meters). Using ultra-wideband radio waves, the chip can determine a device’s location by measuring the time it takes for that radio wave to travel between the device and other Apple devices in the vicinity. Since there can be multiple Find My active devices in an area, a lost Apple device can ping multiple devices.
Enable Find My Network like this
- First of all go to Settings of your phone and tap on your name.
- Now click on Find My option.
- After that tap on Find My iPhone and toggle it on from that list.
- Now find the option of Find My Network and enable it as well.
- Now you will be able to find your iPhone even when you are offline.
How to find stolen or lost iPhone?
You can find your stolen phone using the web or another Apple device with your Apple account. Through the website, log in to www.icloud.com/find using the Apple account you linked to your iPhone.
After login, you will see a Green Point, which traces the location of your iPhone. Here you get to see many more important options. To get more options click on dot and then on ‘i’ button and you can see Last Mode, Play Sound and Array.
