German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz showcased a car that can travel 1,000 km on a single charge at the third India Safe Road Summit. If the EQXX concept electric car reaches the market, it will be a revolutionary step in the field of electric vehicle manufacturing. The EQX has the lowest air drag coefficient of any Mercedes-Benz vehicle. This is the best rate of any car ever made. The EQXX is designed to minimize air resistance when moving forward. Mercedes-Benz EQX is described as the most efficient vehicle that consumes the least amount of energy.
Mercedes doesn’t claim that the EQXX is its most powerful electric vehicle, even when it comes to efficiency. The car’s sigil electric motor has a capacity of 244 hp. The vehicle will have a 100kW battery that can be charged up to 900V fast. The EQXX has a fuel efficiency of 250 kmph more than any vehicle in the current Benz EQS range. It is also special that the interior of the vehicle is made using recyclable materials made from plants.
117 solar panels are installed on EQXX’s roof to increase efficiency. Charging through these solar panels will help you travel 25 km more per day. The rear window of the car is also covered by these solar panels. The Mercedes-Benz logo is placed on the bonnet of the car. The EQXX also features flush door handles similar to those found in the latest Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Now the Mercedes-Benz model car was presented at the Safe Road Summit. But Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will launch the drivable EQXX in India in January itself.
