Samsung finally ends it after failing with Exynos again and again. Samsung has reportedly decided that there will be no more ex Nest chips for at least two years, meaning no Samsung exit is chip for the first time in years for the S 23 series and the Galaxy S 24 series. This is not the death, but the end for now. Yes. According to South Korean media, Samsung is making a dream team of 1000 employees for the development of a dream Galaxy chip by 2025. The main goal of this chip is to surpass Apple Silicon once and for all. This is the reason why Samsung is reportedly retiring Exynos for two years. They simply cannot beat Apple in just one year. They need more time. This dream team has a secret leader that we don’t know about, which is very interesting. The secret leader will be joined by Rote Moon, which is the current Samsung head of mobile division, along with other top executives working at Samsung. Right now, Samsung is finally being serious about this whole chip issue. The report also mentions that Samsung is investing billions of dollars in their semiconductor division all this time. The excess chip that Samsung has made so far have all been a generalized chip that can be used on other phones, meaning they never made the chipset exclusively for their Galaxy phones.
Their aim was to supply this chip to other brands, which never truly happened because of the poor performance of the Exynos of chips. It’s not just the performance. Samsung phones, despite having the biggest battery in the game for three generations, yet they cannot beat iPhones that have a much smaller battery. Ending the Exynos for now is what’s best for business. Like I said, one year is not enough for them to magically make a chip that’s as good as Apple A 16 or even the current A 15. Even with AMD on their side, they couldn’t do it. On behalf of everyone, I want to wish best of luck to the dream team, we will wait for the return of the true Galaxy chip. According to this source and Ice universe, this could take until 2025, but in my opinion, the weight will be worth it. Hopefully Samsung will use this special Galaxy chip on all their Galaxy products, finally putting an end to this global dual chip BS.
