It’s been 11 years since the high priest of consumer technology, former Apple CEO Steven Paul Jobs, or Steve Jobs as he’s called by many, has passed away. He died of pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011, aged 56. Many will remember him as the wizard who changed the concept of the phone forever. (It is not wrong to call Jobs a priest. so far On the 11th anniversary of Jobs’ death, current Apple CEO Tim Cook remembered the legend and posted his notes on Twitter. ‘Steve showed us all that a great idea can change the world. Remembering them today and forever.’ This was the summary of Tim Cook’s tweet.

Steve Jobs dies shortly after Apple introduces the iPhone 4S and Siri. He was 56 years old then. At that time, Jobs was the co-founder, chief executive and chairman of Apple.

Tim Cook said on another occasion, ‘Steve showed me – for each of us, what it means to serve humanity. We miss him, and we will never forget his example.’ (‘Steve showed me– and all of us–what it means to serve humanity. We miss him, today and every day, and we’ll never forget the example he set for us.’)

Steve Jobs was one of the perfectionists in the technology world. Tools and technology can achieve a kind of perfection through the intervention of people like him. Jobs is the person you mainly have to thank for the ingenuity of that smartphone in your hand, whatever brand it may be.

The MacBook Pro computers are among the best laptops in the world. The first MacBook Pro was introduced in 2006. It also saw the debut of the dual-core Intel processor. It comes as a successor to Apple’s earlier PowerBook (PowerBook G4).

∙ iPhone! iOS!

Does a computer manufacturing company make phones? Is that possible? That’s the question tech enthusiasts asked when word started spreading that Apple was making a phone. (However, they ‘leaked’ most of the information about the phone before it even came out. Many people see this as a marketing ploy by Apple. Don’t spend money explaining the features etc.) This phone was introduced in January 2007. It hit US stores in June. Apple fans get their phones from queues and more. Key features were touchscreen, GSM, GPRS, Edge etc. This device changed the course of the phone industry. The smooth operation of its operating system, iOS, was later copied by many.
