How to report messages on Instagram
After that go to the inbox by clicking on the icon of DM coming at the top right side.
Now open the chat whose message you want to report.
Then tap and hold on the message you want to report.
Then click on the More option from the pop-up menu.
Now click on Hit button. You must select a region to report the message for.
Follow the on-screen instructions and then click on the Submit Report button.
This is how you can report for the complete conversation

Open Instagram on your device.
Then go to DM section.
Now tap and hold on the conversation you want to report.
Then click on the user’s name and scroll down and click on the Report button.
Select the region and click on Submit Report.
After submitting the report, Instagram will check the most recent 30 messages sent in the conversation. Be aware that the account you report will not know who filed the complaint.
