Apple launches a new series of iPhone every year. It’s almost time for its line-up to be refreshed. Apple is going to launch its iPhone 15 on September 12. The brand is planning to release the iPhone 15 in four variants. Like the iPhone 14, the iPhone 15 will also have Standard, Plus, Pro and Pro Max variants. The most special features will be found in its expensive Pro and Pro Max models.
According to the leaked news going on in the market, Apple is planning to launch two 6.1-inch iPhones and two 6.7-inch iPhones. Its larger 6.7-inch size will be reserved for its Pro Max variant, but one of the two 6.1-inch phones will be the Pro variant of the iPhone 15. The second 6.1-inch variant will be the standard version of the iPhone 15 and the The second 6.7-inch phone will be the Plus version.
How will be the design?
Apple is expected to stick to the look and feel of the iPhone 14 apart from minor changes. It is being said that all models of the iPhone 15 will be offered with Apple’s innovative Dynamic Island Notch, which will be a major change.
Apple may make several changes to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, such as rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro model may get frosted back glass as well as curved glass on the front.
Apart from this, some changes like sleek and curvier bezels can also be seen in the Pro and Pro Max variants of this series. Overall, the look of the phone will be very similar to the iPhone 14.
This time the company will bring USB Type-C port instead of Lightning port. A common USB-C standard means that users will be able to charge their iPad, Mac and iPhone using a single charger. As far as its color options are concerned, according to rumours, Apple may offer them in six color options, which include blue, coral, white, black, green and yellow.
iPhone 15 cases
If rumors are to be believed, iPhone 14 cases will not be used in the new phones. Some reports say that Apple will not make leather cases for iPhone 15. Instead, Apple’s choice is “finewoven” material, a type of fabric that will reportedly also be used for the Apple Watch.
No possibility of getting Touch ID
Several rumors hint that Apple is working on a new under-display TouchID sensor, but it won’t be ready until 2025, which means the iPhone 15 isn’t expected to get a TouchID sensor.
iPhone 15 camera
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chin Kuo, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will use the primary 48-megapixel sensor camera module, the same module that was used for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Another rumor is that Apple will use a hybrid glass/plastic lens with f/1.7 aperture in this series. Which will be made of single glass element and six plastic elements.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max variant will feature a periscope lens, which can offer 5X or 10X optical zoom. This feature will not be available in iPhone 15 Pro. It can get 3x optical zoom like iPhone 14 Pro Max.
New A-series chipset
The iPhone 15 Pro variant will be the first iPhone with a 3nm chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process. Due to this, the performance of this phone will increase by at least 15 percent and there will be a decrease in power consumption by about 35 percent.
This new chip will be exclusive to the Pro and Pro Max models, while the standard and Plus variants will use the same A16 chip introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro models.
