A world of our own amidst the crowd. A place where friends, relatives, acquaintances, and those we admire are surrounded by everything we love, where we can move forward with all the freedom to engage in what is necessary and pretend not to see what is not. A place where you can lead your life beautifully by strengthening the strength of your relationships and deepening your love. Have you ever felt like a place like that belongs to you? If your answer to the question is whether such a world actually exists, then you have to say yes. That is Facebook.
Ah, Facebook. Some may ask at this stage whether there is backbiting, backbiting, trading and fake news. Well there’s that too. The answer is that although there are many good qualities, there will be some things that we leave useless without understanding its value, and Facebook is one of them.
This earth of ours is beautiful, but many dangers lurk here and there. The beauty of the earth is not lost by thinking that. We are the ones who make this place heaven and hell. Same is the case with Facebook. There can also be many pitfalls, we should go our own way without going through the paths.
But this world also belongs to people who only look after their own business. This pocket attack is also happening in the high-tech sector. Needless to say, the cyber world is a hotbed of crime. There are a lot of high-tech thieves and criminals on Facebook. Money laundering takes place there in many ways. Many people have lost their pride and money as victims.
“My Facebook account has been hacked. You might get a message from my ID asking for money. Friends should be careful, it’s not me”. You may have already shared the message. Or maybe you’ve seen some friends you know get stuck like this and share a note.
This is the main item in Facebook’s long-standing and still ongoing fraud ‘art show’. It can be said that most people are addicted to Facebook in this way. This scam is done by sending messages to friends without their knowledge from their Facebook IDs.
Apart from this, there are also scams that take the pictures, other information, transactions and private chats that we have stored on Facebook in the belief that it is a private space and threaten us by taking advantage of their information. This scam is done after somehow leaking the password of our Facebook account and gaining ‘authority’ of our account.
This scam will continue tomorrow. All we can do is take the necessary precautions to secure our account. If you notice some things that you don’t, like someone going through your friend request, seeing comments on your name, etc., you should suspect that someone has hacked your account.
If you feel any unusual or suspicious activity is happening on your account, the first thing you should do is change your password. Most of the frauds are done by organizing the password of our ID through various means. Last day, Facebook itself had warned that the user ID and password of one million users had been leaked.
The hackers had created fake apps like photo editing, VPN, games, etc., which created a lot of interest among the people, and these 10 lakh account information was taken by the hackers. At some stage of downloading and using these apps, the fraudsters used to ask to log in through Facebook and at this stage, the fraudsters used to take the username and password.
So password is the most important thing in protecting our information. Let’s see how to change password if account is hacked. Before that, one thing should be noted. Easy change is only possible if you remember the old password. Otherwise you have to fiddle around a lot to change the password.
- To change the password, first select the Settings and Privacy option.
- Then select Settings. There click on Security and Login option.
- There, under Login, there is an option called Change Password. Click on it.
- There are three things to do next. First enter the old password
and then enter the new password. - Enter the new password again to make sure you didn’t make a mistake.
- Then click on the Update Password link.
Now your Facebook password has changed. The Security and Login option also provides a few other options to ensure the security of your account. In the Where You Are Logged In option, you can see which devices (mobile/laptop…) you are currently using to log in to your Facebook account.
If you are logged in on a system or mobile that you are not using, you are also given the option to log out from there. Apart from this, here are some ways to ensure account login security. There is also a Get Help option if you think your account has been hacked. That way you can report the information to Facebook.
Meanwhile, if the hacker has kicked you out so that you can no longer access your account, go to Facebook.com/hacked. Enter the mobile number linked with our Facebook account. Then Facebook will help you recover your lost account. Facebook will then advise you about the precautions to be taken in the future at this stage.
