Sony’s new high resolution full frame camera has come with the additional ability to identify the subject that is going to be photographed. Sony is now selling one of the highest resolution full frame cameras you can buy right now. Named A7 R5, the camera has a resolution of 61 MP. The A7R4 currently on sale has the same resolution. However, the A7 R5’s additional capabilities are new features including 8-stop Ibis.

The company says that the A7 R5 has been made with some changes to the sensor seen in its A7 R4 camera. The company did not elaborate on what the additional capacity is provided for.
∙ Extra capacity for Beyonce processor
Meanwhile, Sony says that the new processor incorporated in the A7 R5 has given it extra power. This strength is harnessed for complex artificial intelligence-powered processes. AI is said to work in various areas like focus, exposure and white balance.
∙ World’s best autofocus system?
Initial information is that the camera can see an accurate autofocus system that has never been seen in Sony cameras before. The camera can recognize human faces in different poses. It can identify animals, birds and small creatures. Cars, trains and planes will also be recognized. There are other models in the market that can do all this, but Sony A7 R5 is believed to be a little better than them.
One area where more excellence is gained is in-body image stabilization. Because of the high resolution sensor, it is difficult to say that you should try not to shake while shooting handheld. It is generally believed that the 8-stop stabilization that Sony has included will come in handy because of this. This 8-stop stabilization is without adding in-lens stabilization. Many other companies include the stabilization of the lens when making these figures.
∙ Compressed RAW files
Most people find it difficult to process large amounts of 60MP files. This way the camera can be set to shoot compressed raw files for use in situations where not all details are captured.
∙ 240MP photo in multi shot mode
A 240MP photo can be taken using the multi-shot mode. For this the camera should be placed on a tripod. A 240 MP photo is then taken by combining 4 consecutive shots. It is also possible to combine 16 shots for this. These are combined not in-camera, but with Sony’s Edge desktop software.
∙ Focus bracketing
Another mode is focus bracketing. It can take up to 299 photos. The photos taken in this way are stitched together using computer software.
∙ 10 bit video
The Sony A7 R5 can shoot 10-bit video. When capturing this, the sensor crops up to about a quarter. However, in 8K mode there is a noticeable rolling shutter problem.
∙ Should A7 R5 or R4 be enough?
If you want to capture high-resolution photos, the A7R4 is said to be sufficient. At the same time, if you want the best features including autofocus, you can consider buying the A7 R5. The camera will be available for purchase in December this year and will be priced at $3,900. Meanwhile, the A7 R4 costs $900 less than this.
∙ Nikon Z8
Reports indicate that the Nikon company may soon release a new full-frame camera with 60MP megapixel resolution. That may be the reason why Sony leaked information about its A7 R5 months ago. Mostly for buying Sony’s sensor
