The parent company Metta is planning to introduce more features in the instant messaging platform WhatsApp. A new desktop app for Windows OS and new group features and controls for the Android and iOS versions were recently announced. Apart from these, many new features are also reported to be available this year.

Edit Messages Feature :
One of the features that will soon be available in WhatsApp is the Edit Messages feature to re-edit the sent messages. The information available now is that after typing and sending, users will get 15 seconds to correct unwanted messages and typos. You can also see the edited label next to the edited messages. This can be seen by both the person who sent the message and the person who received it.
Disappearing Messages Feature Update:
WhatsApp is also coming with a new update in the Disappearing Messages section. The modification is during the period when messages in chats are automatically deleted. Currently, disappearing messages could be set in three ways namely 24 hours, 7 days and 90 days. Reports suggest that the new feature will help you select 15 time periods ranging from 1 hour to a year.
Facility to pin messages in chats and groups:
One of the features that will be ready in the workshop of WhatsApp is the feature that helps to pin messages in the chat window. Messages can be pinned in individual chats and groups. For this, it is enough to select the pin option in the chat window. You can also see a small icon in the chat that shows that the message is pinned.
View Ones Audio Feature:
View Ones Audio feature is one of the features that comes with WhatsApp with an aim to increase the privacy of the users. With the new feature, users will be able to send audio messages that can be played only once. Don’t just send photos and videos that can only be viewed once, you can send audio messages in a similar way.
Audio Chats Feature :
Audio Chats is a new feature that Meta is going to introduce with the aim of making audio chats more interesting. The feature that helps you stay connected in audio chats will give you a different experience than group audio calls. WhatsApp plans to make the feature attractive by adding interesting wave shapes and more in the chat header.
