The biggest investor in Open AI right now is Microsoft, which invested $1 billion in Open AI in 2019 and $10 billion in 2023. Besides Microsoft, Indian multinational Infosys and Indian American Vinod Khosla’s Khosla Ventures are corporate investors in Open AI. Apart from them, the company’s co-founders Reid Hoffman, Peter Thiel and Jessica Livingston are individual investors in the company.
