Previously avatars were only available for reacting to Stories and sharing in chats. However, a recent update has added these avatars to Instagram Reels, a short-form video creation feature of Instagram. This means that users can now share these 3D avatars with their friends or followers by using them in Reels.

What is meta avatar?

Instagram users have the option to personalize their 3D avatars to better reflect their likeness and use them in DMs, Reels or Stories. Also you can either create a new Instagram avatar or import your existing Facebook avatar.

Once your Instagram 3D avatar is created, you can share it via DMs, Stories and Reels. Today we will tell you how to share Instagram Reels with 3D avatars.

How to share avatar in Instagram reels?

  1. First of all open the Instagram app on your phone.

2. Now swipe left and go to the Reels tab.

3.Record your reel however you like, and while editing, tap the stickers button in the top right.

4.Now tap on the Avatar option and select the avatar reaction you want to add to your Reel.

5.Once editing is complete, tap on the Next button.

6.After that enter all required details including caption and share.

Apart from this, if you want, you can also share reels by tagging people.
