YouTube Shorts, the short video version of Google-owned YouTube, are now available on TV. YouTube shorts are a category of videos that are 60 seconds or less. YouTube announced in a blog post that it will now be available on TV as well.

YouTube shorts can be played on smart TVs and game consoles launched in 2019 or later. YouTube shorts are vertical videos. Generally all TVs are landscape model. So when playing videos there will be black space on both sides. But the blog post says that YouTube has masterfully overcome this design limitation.

That is, if you play Google shorts, you will get them in the Jukebox style. That means one or more videos will appear on the screen at the same time and you can play whatever you want. Due to this, the black part will be avoided on both sides. The Google blog post says that this is a very innovative design and will become a hallmark of shorts in the future.

Get Google Shorts on TV

Step 1- Open YouTube app on TV

Step 2- Navigate the shorts using your TV remote. Once it is found you will see the suggested shorts video.

Step 3- Watch your favorite video
